Sacred hands lay lifeless upon the floor
The one who hunts still lusts for more
It will move swiftly, hunting in pain.
Bringing death to a world so that is so profane

They scream, and the run, they beg and they cry
But to be hunted by such a thing means one must die.
It is not a lust to feed, nor is it a lust to kill
This beast has never hunted simply for the thrill.

This killer, a murderer and destroyer lives among us all.
It is the life and death of all things, knowing when we fall.
This hunter ends all life, and begins it all yet again.
This thing ends love, but is something to befriend.

This hunter, this monster of the world is you
Hopefully that was something you already knew.
This hunter, this monster of the world is me.
I create and destroy; it is a hard thing to see.

We shall all struggle; we shall all fight and strive
Yet it is all for a fate which we know we can't deny.
I am a human, monster of the earth, beast and hunter.
I create life, I cast it down, and I tear all asunder.

I am part of a bloodline, part of my maker.
I am a heretic, a sinner, and a savior.
I blight my surroundings, in search of what does not belong to me.
I struggle to be immortal, to find love, and to be free.

Monster of the world let me gaze into your eyes
Let me see with my own sight what it is you hide
Monster of the world let me see into your soul
Let me answer questions so that we all may know.

Monster of the world tell me what it is you speak
Let me see you yell it to the world, yell and shriek.
Monster of the world, would you please tell me your tale?
Let me see if one day we can all truly prevail.
